***NXT SPOILERS BELOW***
Just hours after it came to light that NXT TakeOver: New Orleans on April 7 hadn’t yet achieved its expected sell out, YouTube channel Heel By Nature is reporting that WWE ‘accidentally’ leaked the match card on Twitter. Call me Mr. Suspicious, but I’m inclined to believe that it’s more a case of “accidentally on purpose.”

In what seems like a cheeky attempt to drum up more ticket sales for the usually dazzling pre-WWE PPV happening, WWE’s media department left the bait dangling just long enough for it to be snapped up by various sources before pulling it from public view and deleting the tweet – the rascals. It wasn’t just the match card that was on display however, as the seepage also included the awesome new logo for this edition of NXT’s bi-monthly supercard.
The most notable thing about the leaked card however was that it wasn’t updated, leaving notable gaps so as not to spoil the NXT television tapings which occurred on March 7, leaving many to wonder why they even bothered in the first place.
The disclosed document stated there would be a “6-Man Ladder Match to crown the first NXT North American Champion” but failed to disclose the participants, and also included “The winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic vs Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish for the NXT Tag Team Championships.” This is false, as an injured Fish will be replaced Undisputed Era brother Adam Cole – who is expected to compete twice – as NXT takes advantage of the ‘Freebird Rule’.

We can confirm that the full NXT TakeOver: New Orleans card – which on papers looks like it could be the best offering yet – will be:
- Andrade “Cien” Almas vs Aleister Black (NXT Championship Match)
- Ember Moon vs Shayna Baszler (NXT Women’s Championship Match)
- Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole vs The Authors of Pain vs Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong (NXT Tag Team Championship Match / the winner receives the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy)
- Ricochet vs Adam Cole vs Lars Sullivan vs The Velveteen Dream vs Killian Dain vs EC3 (6-Man Ladder Match to crown the first NXT North American Champion)
- Johnny Gargano vs Tomasso Ciampa (Unsanctioned Match)
