WWE Main Roster Star Involved In Special NXT Match

A WWE main roster star made their return to NXT tonight (April 23) and is a set to be involved in a special upcoming match.

While NXT GM Ava was in the ring tonight to preside over the contract signing between Natalya and Lola Vice ahead of their first time ever women’s NXT Underground match.

However with Karmen Petrovic accompanying Natalya, there was set to be a surprise for the corner of Lola Vice.

Shayna Baszler was revealed as the main roster star who would be in Lola Vice’s corner, helping to train her ahead of the NXT Underground match.

The match will take place on next week’s night two of NXT Spring Breakin’.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT in the women’s divison, Jaida Parker beat Fallon Henley, and Sol Ruca picked up a win over Blair Davenport in what was called a Beach Brawl match.

In the opener of the show, Roxanne Perez retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a three-way match.
