WWE Management Has No Clue When Roman Reigns Is Returning

The week prior to WrestleMania 36 it had emerged that Roman Reigns had pulled out of the big show due to Coronavirus related concerns. As a result of his two battles with leukemia, Roman has a compromised immune system and is at risk of contracting a worse strain of the disease if infected.

Roman was replaced on the show by Braun Strowman, with Braun somewhat surprisingly defeating Goldberg at the marquee pay-per-view to win the Universal Championship for the first time in his career.

It was speculated that WWE higher-ups may have been upset with Roman Reigns over his decision to pull out of the show. However, our sources told us that this wasn’t the case, and Vince McMahon himself was more then accepting of Roman Reigns’ decision to miss ‘Mania 36.

Fans are unclear on when we can expect to see the former WWE and Universal Champion in a WWE ring next, and it has emerged that WWE higher-ups are also unsure on when Reigns will make a return to TV.

Taking to Twitter to respond to a fan question, Dave Meltzer notes that even those high-up in WWE have no idea when we can expect to see Roman Reigns return.

A potential Roman Reigns return is more than likely down to when this Coronavirus situation begins to slow down. Once Roman feels it is safe for him to return to work, I’m sure we can expect to see him back in the Universal Championship picture. However, I don’t expect that to be for a while.
