Former WWE Star ‘Excited’ About IMPACT Wrestling Return IMPACT Wrestling

A former WWE star has opened up about their upcoming return to IMPACT Wrestling and described their excitement for the appearance.

Mark Andrews made his WWE debut as part of the 2017 WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament and would remain with the company until the NXT UK brand was closed down, being released in August 2022.

During his time in WWE, he would appear on NXT, 205 Live, Raw and NXT UK and hold the NXT UK Tag Team Championship with Flash Morgan Webster.

The pair would feature in the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with highlights of their match against Matt Riddle & Pete Dunne below this news story.

The pair, along with Dani Luna, are set to appear on the May 26 IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege when Subculture takes on Chris Bey & Ace Austin for the World Tag Team Championship.

Speaking on his My Love Letter to Wrestling, Andrews discussed returning to the company that he called home from 2014 to 2017, saying:

“Yes, indeed (I’m headed back to IMPACT Wrestling) and you know what? I’m excited… I am too (also happy about it) because for those of you who don’t know, I kind of had my first big break in wrestling with IMPACT Wrestling back in 2014.

“I was a 21-year-old and I won their TV show British Boot Camp which was kind of like, almost like a Britain’s Got Talent for British wrestlers… And it was a great experience.

“I had two years (in) the company and honestly, some of my favorite memories in wrestling were in IMPACT Wrestling before I went to WWE.

“So the fact that now I’m able to go back, not only to IMPACT but I get to bring two of my mates as well. I get to bring Dani Luna and Flash Morgan Webster. I’m buzzing.”

Impact Under Siege takes place at Western Fair District Agriplex in London, Ontario, Canada on May 26 2023.
