WWE Match Called Off Due To Injury

WWE Match Called Off Due To Injury WWE

A WWE match had to be called off ‘due to injury’ on Raw – as far as we know, it was a part of an ongoing storyline and not legitimate.

A backstage interaction last week where Xia Li attacked Candice LeRae led to a match on tonight’s October 30 WWE Raw.

However after a short time in the match, the first for Xia Li on main roster television in seven months, the match was stopped.

Xia Li hit a big kick to LeRae and LeRae fell to the mat, trying to stand up again moments later she was unable and the referee called for an end to the match.

After the commercial break, Candice LeRae was shown in a backstage segment icing her neck area alongside real life husband Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Indi Hartwell, a WWE medical staff member, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.

If there are any concrete updates about LeRae’s condition and the legitimacy of it, we will of course keep you updated, but as of now, there’s no word that it’s a real injury.

As noted, this was Li’s first match back on TV excluding Main Event since SmackDown back in March.
