Johnny Gargano has shared a message for Julius and Brutus Creed ahead of their match for the chance to compete at WrestleMania 40.
With Finn Balor and Damian Priest set to defend their WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania in a six pack ladder match, matches have been taking place on WWE TV to determine the other teams in the match.
A notable qualifying match will take place on Monday’s (March 18) edition of Raw, with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of DIY set to face off against Julius and Brutus Creed of the Creed Brothers.
Gargano has taken to Twitter to note that he genuinely wishes that DIY and Creed Brothers could both be in the WrestleMania ladder match.
Hoping to finally achieve his lifelong dream of competing at WrestleMania, Gargano said:
Tomorrow night. #WWERaw
We have nothing but respect for the Creeds. I wholeheartedly wish we could both be in that ladder match..
But we’re both gunning for the same spot, and I promise we’re going to fight like hell to FINALLY punch our ticket to Wrestlemania. #DIY
Gargano has stated on multiple occasions that it has been his lifelong dream to appear at WrestleMania, with the former NXT Champion citing the possibility of wrestling at the Show of Shows as one of the reasons he chose to return to WWE in August 2022.
Johnny Wrestling will have the opportunity to wrestle at another major WWE show when it visits his hometown later this year, which you can read more about right here.
