What Carmelo Hayes Told Fans On WWE NXT After Attacking Trick Williams WWE

WWE star Carmelo Hayes betrayed his best friend and tag partner in the closing moments of NXT Vengeance Day and was set to comment tonight.

Carmelo Hayes came to the ring on tonight’s February 6 edition of NXT seemingly to address the shocking betrayal against his best friend and tag team partner, Trick Williams.

However in lieu of actually saying anything of substance, Melo would be booed feverishly by the NXT Performance Center fans before simply saying two words.

Melo just said, “Not yet” and left the ring as the crowd continued to boo and fans continued to wonder: why Melo, why?!

However it wouldn’t be the last of Carmelo Hayes on tonight’s show as he later returned to the ring for a seated promo.

Confirming that he was indeed the person who attacked Trick Williams in the first place, his rationale was interrupted by Trick Williams’ music… but no Trick.

It was all a ruse as Trick wasn’t in attendance with Melo saying he was laid up in a hospital next to Booker T.

Asserting that Trick Williams deserved what he got, Melo went further to say he was on a completely different echelon than Williams.

Ending the segment reminding that Trick Williams that he is a side-kick and that is ‘all he’ll ever be’, certainly the stage is set for the pair to have an upcoming match, which would seem likely for NXT Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.

Even later in the night, Hayes popped up once more – after NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov had beaten Dijak in the main event, Hayes attacked Dragunov and held the title belt above his head to close the show.
