WWE has announced a new partnership with Snapchat to launch a World Heavyweight Championship add-on for Bitmoji.
Ahead of Royal Rumble, fans are able to redeem a World Heavyweight Title for their Bitmoji virtual avatar.
WWE touted this announcement as historic, with the company noting that they’re the first sports and entertainment league to partner with Snapchat to create a Bitmoji garment that’s unlockable using Tokens.
WWE shared the following:
Ever wanted to capture the World Heavyweight Title? WWE and Snapchat have joined forces to give you a championship opportunity, and you won’t have to beat Seth “Freakin” Rollins to win it.
Beginning today, Snapchat users can unlock a digital World Heavyweight Championship for their Bitmoji avatar by redeeming 200 Tokens.
WWE is the first sports and entertainment league to partner with Snapchat on an unlockable Bitmoji garment that is only accessible with Tokens.
The digital World Heavyweight Title is available now, just in time to kick off The Road to WrestleMania 40 at Royal Rumble 2024!
The real World Heavyweight Championship currently belongs to Seth Rollins, who defeated AJ Styles to become the inaugural champion in May 2023.
With Seth Rollins recently suffering a legitimate knee injury, the champion has now addressed his WWE status, which you can read more about right here.
