WWE Star Reveals Truth About Retirement Plans

WWE Star Reveals Truth About Retirement Plans WWE

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has spoken about retirement plans as his back issues play into current storylines.

Rollins’ back was a focus of his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, with Rollins revealing the extent of his injuries in the run-up to their match at WWE Payback on September 2, 2023.

With Rollins confirming that he has been working with the injuries for around five years and that it can both be “extremely painful” and “very difficult” when it comes to in-ring work, he spoke about his future on the Mythical Kitchen Last Meal.

During his appearance on the YouTube channel, Rollins revealed:

“I don’t intend on stopping any time soon.

“Like I said, I’m still in that window.

“The business is hot, I’m having a lot of fun.

“So I don’t know. I don’t see it any time in the immediate future. Let’s just say that.”

Seth Rollins made his wrestling debut in August 2004 as Gixx before becoming Tyler Black in 2005.

He signed a WWE developmental deal in August 2010 and would go on to work in FCW before it rebranded as NXT.

Rollins would be the inaugural NXT Champion and would make his main roster debut at Survivor Series in November 2012 as part of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (AEW’s Jon Moxley).

Alongside being the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he has also been a two-time WWE Champion, Universal Champion, Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion.

He holds more reigns as WWE Tag Team Champion, however, having held the Raw title six times.
