Spoilers have emerged for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which was taped following WWE Raw.
Matches and segments for the August 28 SmackDown episode were taped on August 24, at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Canada.
Several notable moments took place during the taping, including a return from injury, and a championship match.
A #1 contender’s match for CM Punk’s Undisputed WWE Championship also took place, with the next chapter written in the SmackDown main event storyline.
