Jacy Jayne also defended her WWE Women’s US Championship against Paige, which led to Nikki Bella’s return to attack her former teammate.
Chelsea Green was also in action, wrestling for the first time since suffering her orbital fracture earlier this month. The WWE Women’s Champion teamed with Tiffany Stratton in a losing effort against Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

Nia Jax & Lash Legend def. Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green. Medics tried to take Green away, but she returned to the match.

Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens vs. Gunther ends via disqualification following interference from Zayn.
Post match: CM Punk runs down, Sami Zayn lays everyone out with the Undisputed WWE Title belt
There have been many spinning plates in the WWE Championship picture since SummerSlam, where CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes to retain his gold following interference from a returning Randy Orton.
During that same event, a returning Kevin Owens defeated GUNTHER, Finn Balor and Sami Zayn to earn a shot at Punk’s gold, in a match which was originally only advertised as Balor vs Zayn.
Punk defeated Owens on the August 21 SmackDown episode, following Sami Zayn’s interference.
