WWE Star AJ Styles Not Cleared To Return To The Ring

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer that AJ Styles still has not been cleared to return to the ring.

Styles has not competed since he lost to Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. The two had one of the best matches on the WWE main roster in 2019, which featured Rollins retaining the WWE Universal Championship.

AJ Styles has been dealing with a back injury and WWE wrote him off TV so he could recover. They are expecting him to be ready to return very soon. He is set to team with Triple H, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows in an eight-man tag team match in WWE’s return to Japan on June 29th.

He is expected to return before the trip to Japan, however he is not scheduled to appear at Stomping Grounds this Sunday.
