WWE star Elton Prince of Pretty Deadly is the latest WWE star to suffer an injury.
Per PWInsider, Prince suffered a separated shoulder on last night’s (July 14) episode of SmackDown, with him seen sporting a sling after the show.
The match saw Pretty Deadly take on Sheamus and Ridge Holland of the Brawling Brutes, with Prince suffering his injury during the match.
Ridge Holland has previously been a victim of abuse and harassment online after it was his botched Belly To Belly Suplex that caused Big E to break his neck on SmackDown last March.
Taking to Twitter to clear the air, Ridge revealed that it was not his Belly to Belly that caused the injury to Prince, but rather a wonky landing from the Pounce.
He said:
So to set people straight before they get all pissy! It wasn’t the belly to belly…..it was a wonky landing from the pounce.
Out of my control. Wishing @EltonPrince_PD a speedy recovery.
It should go without saying but please do not send abuse to wrestlers on social media.
We wish Elton a full and complete recovery from his injury.
