WWE Star Comments On Upcoming Independent Appearance

A WWE star has commented on their upcoming appearance at an independent event over WrestleMania week announced earlier today.

Earlier today, Josh Barnett announced the latest name for the upcoming GCW Bloodsport event in Philadelphia on April 4, 2024.

The name was none other than Barnett’s own protegee, WWE star Shayna Baszler, who is set to make her GCW debut at the event.

Taking to Twitter to react to her announced appearance, Shayna reflected on her history with Bloodsport and Barnett, saying:

You people merely adopted Bloodsport. I was born in it, molded by it. From Billy Robinson the the gene seed of the Warmaster himself…..BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!! #LimbByLimb

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful had reported prior to the announcement that WWE stars would be appearing at this year’s Bloodsport event.

It’s not yet known if Shayna will be the only WWE star appearing on the show, but we will keep you updated if any other WWE stars are announced for the show.
