A WWE star has opened up on how they try and keep things ‘fresh’ after recently admitting that they had ‘gone stale’.

At the Royal Rumble, Tiffany Stratton returned to WWE television after a two month absence since losing the WWE Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November 2025.

Since her return, Tiffany had been chasing the Women’s United States Championship, with her defeating Giulia for the title on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 42.

Tiffany Stratton Opens Up On Keeping Herself Fresh

While Tiffany was white hot coming out of NXT at the time of her main roster call up in 2024, she recently admitted in an interview that she had ‘grew stale’ over the past year.

Speaking to KFAN, Tiffany was asked about how she tries to keep things fresh after recently admitting she had grown stale.

She said:

“Sometimes I feel like it’s not in your hands, but what I try and do is control the things I can control which is my wrestling, how well I deliver promos, how well I deliver in the ring, and just making every single second on TV count.

“I always feel like I have to make such a good impression every time I’m on TV because you never know who’s scrolling the TV channels and they’re like ‘oh my gosh who is this blonde girl with this WWE title doing flips in the ring? I wanna stay tuned, I wanna watch this’, and from then on hopefully they follow me on Instagram and Tik Tok and they become a fan of the product.

“I would say it’s pretty collaborative, you can always pitch ideas, it’s just sometimes they don’t always go with your ideas. However there has been a couple of things they’ve gone with that I’ve pitched which is really cool.

“As I kind of get more familiar with wrestling and develop more credibility, I’ve begun pitching more ideas and they’ve kind of been going with it.”

Tiffany Stratton Outlines The Differences Between NXT & WWE Main Roster

Fans have recently started taking notice of the difference between the matches taking place on NXT television and the WWE main roster, with a lot of speculation as to what the reason for it could be.

Tiffany herself spoke about the difference, noting that the matches in NXT are ‘very produced’ compared to matches on the main roster, where you are given more free will.

She added:

“I feel in NXT, things are very, very produced and everything’s talked about. Shawn Michaels really wants things from A to B to C. So when you come from NXT, you’re so used to having people tell you what to do, where on SmackDown and Raw you have a little bit more free will.

“You kind of get to decide what moves you want to do in the ring, what story you want to tell in the ring, it’s kind of up to you. I feel like you get put in a sink or swim situation, so you have to battle it out for yourself, which I like because I’m very motivated and like to keep things fresh.

“So to be able to be in charge of my own destiny, I like that a lot.”
