Tiffany Stratton has revealed some potential alternative WWE ring names from before she debuted in the company.
Stratton, real name Jessica Woynilko, has used her current name since debuting in WWE NXT, but has now revealed that she was almost named Veronica Swanson instead.
On her live stream today, Stratton also noted that she wishes she’d have suggested the name Darby, so she could have been known as the Darby Doll, doesn’t think WWE would have accepted that suggestion anyway.
She said:
“So, it was between Tiffany Stratton or Veronica Swanson. Do you guys think I look like a Veronica? Veronica Swanson.
“But the name I would like, I actually thought about this a long time ago and I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I put it down?’ – I thought about doing the name Darby, so I could be the Darby Doll, but I don’t think they would have gone for that.
“I’m really happy (with Tiffany Stratton). It’s my mom’s name, I like the name Tiffany a lot.”

Tiffany Stratton Finding Her Footing After WWE Break
Tiffany Stratton was away from WWE action for about three months from the start of November to the end of January, and since then, there have been occasional slip-ups during her matches.
Stratton would be the perfect name to be involved in WWE’s string of summer live events coming up soon, as she’s a big enough name to feature in a prominent position on the card, but would also benefit from getting the reps in the ring as well.
Triple H and Nick Khan are well aware of the need for live events for this purpose, and Stratton could be one of the biggest success stories if she comes out of them with some good performances.
