Big Triple H Era WWE Change Confirmed

Big Triple H Era WWE Change Confirmed WWE

WWE stars and former SmackDown Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have lifted the lid on a big Triple H era change.

Over the course of WWE WrestleMania 40 weekend, the company pushed its “New Era” with a great deal of on-screen praise for Triple H and his creative vision.

Many changes to the WWE on-screen product have been quite noticeable, including the use of the word “wrestling” in place of “sports entertainment.”

Speaking on Talk’n Shop, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The O.C. discussed that change during the Triple H era of WWE. They had the following exchange:

Gallows: We don’t have to say sports entertainment anymore. You’re allowed to be a WWE wrestler. Wrestler.

Anderson: Wrestler.

Gallows: Wrestler. You can say, ‘I wrestle for the WWE.’ You’re not going to get in trouble if you don’t say ‘I’m a sports entertainer.’ I remember Stone Cold saying, ‘Are you a wrestler or sports entertainer?’

Anderson: When did Stone Cold say that?

Gallows: I think he asked on a podcast and at that point we had drank all the Stone Cold IPAs. We said, ‘Hell yeah, we’re wrestlers.’

Both Gallows and Anderson stated that they consider themselves “Triple H Guys.”
