On the most recent episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, it was revealed that a wrestler is out of action due to injury.
On last night’s show, Lince Dorado competed in the tag-team battle royal to decide the next challengers for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
During the match, it was announced that fellow Lucha House Party member Gran Metalik was injured. Metalik was previously advertised for the match, but ultimately Dorado was the sole representative for his team during last night’s bout.
It is currently unknown what Metalik’s injury is, or even if that is legitimately why he wasn’t there, but it seems like he will appear on next week’s episode of Raw. Following the match, Metalik tweeted:
“(@Lince Dorado) sorry papa for tonight see you next week #simbas”
Metalik last wrestled on the May 31 episode of Raw, teaming with Dorado to take on MACE and T-BAR.
The Viking Raiders won the battle royal, earning a future shot at AJ Styles and Omos’ title. Also on Raw, an interesting stipulation was added to the WWE Championship match set for Hell in a Cell.
Jaxson Ryker faced Elias in a singles match on last night’s show. Ryker debuted a new look ahead of a potential push.
