A recently signed WWE star has discussed how he felt before his debut.
On the October 13 edition of WWE SmackDown, Triple H announced that former NWA and IMPACT World Champion Nick Aldis was the new General Manager of the Friday night program.
Aldis has wasted no time making his presence felt on the main roster and has even got into it with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce over the past week.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio alongside his wife Mickie James, Aldis was asked about how he felt prior to his WWE debut. He answered:
“The thing I remember the most is sitting at ringside trying to look cool.
“Trying to keep composed like and here comes Hunter’s music and like the thing I remember the most is my heart was beating like 1000 miles per hour.
“Like I could hear my heart beating like, ‘THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP.’
“All I just thought was, ‘alright this is it right.’ Like you get your opportunity and try to hit the ball, and I feel like I did pretty good.”
