Another WWE Star Returns After Over A Year Away At Survivor Series

Another WWE Star Returns After Over A Year Away At Survivor Series WWE

In addition to Randy Orton’s anticipated return tonight, another WWE star returned after over a year away at Survivor Series WarGames.

Appearing in a backstage segment with several other WWE stars, long absent R-Truth reappeared for a hilarious spot.

In a locker room segment, Chelsea Green lamented to Piper Niven that Chicago would have loved to see Green, which Niven corrected to, “Us”.

Next, Alpha Academy (Maxxine Dupri, Otis and Akira Tozawa) were hanging out beside them, also enjoying Ruffles, a sponsor for tonight’s show, when they were joined by Pretty Deadly backstage at Survivor Series.

Kicking off a classic cultural exchange over whether or not Ruffles were ‘chips’ as Otis said, or ‘crisps’ as Pretty Deadly insisted, randomly R-Truth popped up from behind the couch to correct them all.

Akira Tozawa would then go on to demonstrate a “Ruffles Shuffle” which was a modified version of his dance but holding Ruffles instead of a title belt.

R-Truth for his part encouraged Tozawa to “keep it PG” in a throwback to one of his most epic WWE moments.

R-Truth had his last match in WWE over a year ago against Grayson Waller on NXT in November 2022.

He’d suffered an injury during that match and has been out ever since.

Truth had been teasing he’d be returning soon, and it happened tonight at Survivor Series, although not in an in-ring capacity.
