UPDATE – Further confirmation has now emerged and can be found at this link.
In the latest update on the situation, Lacey Evans now seems to have done all that she can to confirm her WWE departure.
As we’ve previously covered, Evans has changed her social media handles to ‘Limitless Macey’ – Macey Estrella-Kadlec being her real name – and posted on Instagram that “when the clock strikes 12”, we’ll be addressing her as Macey Estrella, again, her real name.
Well, after posting that, she’s now updated her bios on both Twitter and Instagram to include:
“FKA WWE Superstar Lacey Evans”
All signs are absolutely pointing to Evans being on her way out of WWE, but there is no official confirmation as of yet.
WWE.com still has Evans listed on the current roster page as of this writing, which doesn’t mean much considering it’s never really updated in a timely way for things like this, but you can take it for what it’s worth.
And of course, if she is leaving, we don’t know yet whether it was a case of her asking for her release and it being granted, WWE choosing to release her without her requesting it, or a contract expiration.
Again just for whatever you think it’s worth at this point, Evans has liked a tweet from a fan that said:
If rumors of @LimitlessMacey asking for her WWE release are true, then GOOD FOR HER! They didn’t deserve her anyway. She proved to be one of the best heels in the women’s locker room & they’ve constantly dropped the ball on her from the end of the ‘Sassy Southern Belle’ onward! 💪
When there are official updates and details, we’ll let you know and make that clear, but for now these are all just signs that very much point to her departure.
