WWE STAR Set For Return

WWE STAR Set For Return

Former WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan has not competed inside a WWE ring since the Raw after Royal Rumble 2018, due to a neck injury but could be set to return soon.

However, after recent surgery was successful, PWInsider are reporting that several WWE sources have confirmed he is due to make his WWE return later this month and may be backstage for events as soon as next week.

In July 2017, Jordan made his debut on the Raw brand and as part of an angle intended to kick-start his singles career, was announced as being Raw General Manager Kurt Angle’s illegitimate son.

The ‘Gold-Blooded’ Chicago native embarked on his singles career over the coming months, with short programs with the likes of then-WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, and Elias.

Soon after his November program with Elias, Jordan was shoehorned in to be Seth Rollins’ new tag team partner, after the ‘Architect’s Shield ‘brother’ Dean Ambrose was sidelined with an injury. The ‘Lunatic Fringe’ is still out of action with a tricep tear.

This proved to be a good move for Jordan however, as he and Rollins defeated the Bar on the Christmas day episode of Raw for the red brand’s tag team gold.

Their reign didn’t last too long however, as, presumably due to knowledge of Jordan’s injury, the Bar won the titles back at Royal Rumble 2018.

What could be next for Jordan? With his former American Alpha teammate Chad Gable being drafted to Raw, could we see an interaction between the two? Or maybe Jordan will go after his other former partner, and current WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, in search of his first singles title in WWE?
