A current WWE star and reigning champion has said he wants to face the Undertaker in a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match at next month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles recently spoke with BT Sport, and named two dream matches, one of which was the aforementioned rematch against the ‘Deadman’.
Styles said:
“I’m the IC champ, Undertaker’s never been the IC Champ, I’ll put it on the line against you and if you freaking beat me, I’ll leave the WWE forever but if I win, you leave. There, there, there’s the story behind that one. I want the Undertaker at SummerSlam because he hasn’t came [sic] to me and said, ‘I’m done, I’m retired,’ he just said it on TV. But he said if Vince needed him, he’d be there.”
He also went onto add that he wants to face Drew McIntyre, who is the current WWE Champion, at WrestleMania.
Styles defends the Intercontinental Championship against Gran Metalik on this coming Friday’s episode of SmackDown on FOX.
