WWE stars have reacted to Cody Rhodes choosing Roman Reigns for the main event of WrestleMania 40 at tonight’s kickoff media event.
Weighing in on the developments coming out of tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 40 kickoff media event, numerous WWE stars have made their thoughts known.
While all had positive thoughts to share, there was a range of notable reactions.
While Big E was able to give his reaction to Cody challenging Roman Reigns on the live show itself, the other two members of New Day shared their thoughts on Twitter.
Kofi Kingston wrote:
“Ooooh mania finna be LIT!”
Xavier Woods wrote in response to Triple H’s announcement Tweet:
“Hell Yea”
The commentary team of Wade Barrett and Corey Graves also shared thoughts.
Graves wrote:
“I’m excited to go to work tomorrow.”
Wade Barrett was a little more puzzled about the announcement, writing:
“U WOT M8?”
Elsewhere, two NXT stars, Dijak and Joe Coffey expressed their gratitude for the multi-layered storytelling.
Dijak wrote in response to the clip of The Rock and Triple H having a backstage interaction:
“This s**t is so awesome.”
Joe Coffey wrote:
“I hope wrestling fans just appreciate how good this era is.”
