A WWE Championship match was officially announced for the May 10 Money in the Bank pay-per-view during tonight’s episode of Raw.
Drew McIntyre will defend the title he won at WrestleMania earlier this month against multi-time former champion Seth Rollins.
After McIntyre had beaten Andrade in the main event of last week’s Raw, Rollins came down to the ring and gave him two curb stomps to close the show.
The Scot responded by opening tonight’s episode by laying out the challenge to Rollins, which the ‘Monday Night Messiah’ accepted via a video promo later on in the show.
"At Money in the Bank, Drew, I'm going to take your title. Not because I want to, but because I have to."#WWERaw @WWERollins @DMcIntyreWWE pic.twitter.com/3lzApA3Se3

Also on the card for the pay-per-view are: Braun Strowman defending the Universal Title against Bray Wyatt, Bayley defending the SmackDown Women’s Title against Tamina, and both Money in the Bank ladder matches, which will have been taped in a cinematic style and will see participants start on the ground floor of WWE HQ with the briefcase hanging over the roof.
Two matches that definitely seem to be the direction but have yet to be officially announced are the Street Profits defending the Raw Tag Team Championship against the Viking Raiders, and New Day defending the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a three-way against Miz & Morrison and the Usos.
