WWE will be holding their first ever pay-per-view on New Year’s Day, the company announced during Rolling Loud Miami on last night’s (July 23) episode of SmackDown.
The show aired live from Cleveland and Miami at Rolling Loud. The Rolling Loud portion of the show saw Angelo Dawkins defeat Chad Gable, and Bianca Belair retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella.
Following Bianca’s victory, she welcomed Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young onto the stage, who announced that the first ever WWE pay-per-view to be held on New Year’s Day will take place in Atlanta.

The event has yet to be named, but tickets go on sale on Friday, August 27 at 10am EST via Ticketmaster.
