A WWE star has branded a top WWE star ‘overrated’ following their recent match in the King of the Ring tournament.
On Raw, the 2024 WWE King of the Ring tournament got underway, with the first matches from the tournament taking place on the show in Hartford.
The first King of the Ring match was originally slated to see Finn Balor face off against Drew McIntyre, but with McIntyre pulled from the tournament, he wended up being replaced by Jey Uso.
Jey was coming off a World Heavyweight Championship encounter with Damian Priest at Backlash in Lyon, France, where he received one of the loudest ovations from the crowd on the show.
Taking to Twitter today, Finn shared photos of him mocking Jey during the match, claiming him to be ‘over’rated.
He simply wrote:
OVERrated
Elsewhere on the show Monday night, Gunther defeated Sheamus in the main event to advance to the next round, as well as Ilja Dragunov defeating Ricochet in his first official match as a member of the Raw roster.
