Raw Star Reveals How Much Creative Input They Have For Current WWE Run WWE

A rising WWE star has hailed the influence and impact that both Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch have had on their main roster run so far.

Stark’s first main-roster storyline saw her become the protege of Trish Stratus during the Hall of Famer’s rivalry against Becky Lynch.

Speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful ahead of SummerSlam in August, Zoey Stark recalled being immediately thrusted into an angle involving two all-time greats of the women’s division.

Explaining how both have assisted her so far, Stark said:

“It makes me feel good about myself and tells me I’m doing something right.

“Trish Stratus, I’ve said it, and I’ll say it again, she’s been absolutely amazing. She has been a mentor inside the ring and out.

“Becky Lynch, just with us as people outside of the ring and the story, Becky is absolutely amazing. She’s a great human being. She’s been so welcoming, and she’s been helping me out along the way.”

Despite being directly involved with Lynch and Stratus’ long-running feud, the upstart revealed that she has been taking a creative backseat thus far, pitching ideas but allowing Stratus to take the lead.

Stark explained:

“Right now, I’m sitting back and just watching how it goes if I have an idea, I go to Trish.

So Trish and I will talk it out, and then I just kind of follow her lead to where if she likes the idea, she’ll go and pitch it, but I’m standing right there with her to see, like okay, let me see how she handles this.

“Yeah, I’m just in the back watching right now.”

Although Lynch vs Stratus was reportedly pulled from the SummerSlam card, the two multi-time women’s champions will finally get a chance to wrap up their lengthy rivalry courtesy of a steel cage match at WWE Payback on September 2.
