The first ever all-women’s WWE pay-per-view, Evolution, is shaping up to be a solid card with legends of the past, exciting wrestlers of the present, and stars of the future of female wrestling all performing in one special event.
Speaking of the future, PWInsider is reporting that Rhea Ripley, Kacy Catanzaro, Lacey Evans, and the newly signed Mia Yim are booked for the pay-per-view.
Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae were also reportedly confirmed for the show earlier this week. There is expected to be a Battle Royal match at the event involving the NXT talent, but nothing is confirmed at this moment.
The all-women’s event will be headlined by reality TV legend Nikki Bella and certified butt-kicker Ronda Rousey going at it for the Raw Women’s championship.
Also, following this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Becky Lynch will look to finally put an end to Charlotte Flair stealing her spotlight in a Last Woman Standing match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.The first-ever Evolution pay-per-view takes place on October 28 in Long Island, NY at the Nassau Coliseum.
