WWE has confirmed the commentary team for Sunday’s Evolution pay-per-view and it is a familiar line-up for viewers of this year’s Mae Young Classic.
Michael Cole will lead the booth, as ever, joined by Beth Phoenix and Raw co-commentator Renee Young.
There had been rumours that WWE would use an all-female booth for the show but the lack of any experienced lead announcer to carry the broadcast is the likely and logical reason they went with Cole.

Cole is the only man on the entire broadcast crew. The pre-show panel that airs for an hour before the show will feature Young and Phoenix, who will be joined by SmackDown General Manager Paige.
Lilian Garcia, JoJo and Kayla Braxton will handle ring announcing duties, with Braxton also doing red carpet interviews alongside Charly Caruso.
Interviews will be hosted by Dasha Fuentes, Cathy Kelley and Sarah Schreiber.
