Last night WWE aired its 17th annual Tribute To The Troops special on the USA Network, which was taped from Fort Hood in Texas on December 4. Here are the notable happenings:
- JBL returned to the commentary desk for the show, sharing the booth with Michael Cole and Byron Saxton
- New Day cut a promo dressed in Santa attire, putting over the sacrifices made by the troops
- Ronda Rousey and Natalya defeated the teams of Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan and Nia Jax and Tamina in a triple threat tag match. Rousey tapped Morgan and Logan to a double armbar – the same finish she used at Super Show-Down
- Celebrities Jon Stewart and Morgan Wallen were in attendance
- Elias and Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre when Elias pinned Lashley with a sunset flip
- Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch were guests on MizTV. After some light-hearted back-with Miz and-forth and a hint of innuendo, Lynch and Flair teamed up to defeated Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Lynch scored the win via submission.
- The main event was the fourth tag match of the night, in which AJ Styles and Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan in an inter-brand bout Styles pinned Bryan following the phenomenal forearm.
