Kofi Kingston can’t catch a break under the tyranny of Vince McMahon it would seem. The newly nicknamed ‘Dreadlocked Dynamo’ looked to have been inserted into the WWE Championship Triple Threat match at Fastlane last night, but no.
Kofi went out to the ring for the match, only for it to be announced that he would instead be in a handicap match with the Bar. He was of course beaten up mercilessly, and Woods and Big E were taken out by Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev trying to help him.
This attack left Kofi unable to compete in the title match and was replaced by Mustafa Ali as a bit of nice symmetry from the Elimination Chamber.
Kofi’s New Day teammates Big E and Xavier Woods have since taken to Twitter to express their outrage at how Kofi has been “screwed again” by WWE.
I can’t believe…. Actually I can believe that @TrueKofi got screwed again. This is ridiculous and we will figure out a way to make this right.

This doing the right thing clearly ain’t it. Maybe we need to knock over a liquor store or something to be a star here…Please send me your petty crimes suggestions.

It is expected that Kofi Kingston will eventually get his match for the title at WrestleMania, and this is all just an underdog fighting against the authority storyline.
