It was reported that Daniel Bryan was injured in his WrestleMania 35 clash with Kofi Kingston. The former WWE Champion has not appeared on TV since he lost his title at the “show of shows”.
We have somewhat of an update on Bryan’s situation, with it now being revealed that not only has Bryan not been on TV, but the former Smackdown General Manager has not even been present backstage at any WWE show since WrestleMania, and it is believed that he has been sent home.
PWInsider is also reporting that the nature of Bryan’s injury is being “closely guarded”, with very few people knowing specifically what injury Bryan suffered, or how long he is scheduled to be out for. Of course, based on his history, any injury issue surrounding Bryan is particularly worrying. WrestleTalk will bring you more information when it becomes available.
This news comes after it was reported today that Bryan’s WrestleMania XXVIII opponent, Sheamus, has also been ruled out of competition with an injury.
