Despite being introduced as an on-screen character earlier on in 2019, Dominik Mysterio took his first bump on the 09/30 episode of Raw when he was attacked by Brock Lesnar.
The attack on Dominik and his father Rey led to the WWE debut of Cain Velasquez a few days later on the Friday Night Smackdown debut on FOX.
It is being reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer that Dominik Mysterio will begin working at the Performance Center in 2020.
WWE wants Dominik to train in Tampa, Florida for a few months before a marquee WrestleMania 36 match in April.
With Dominik set to make his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 36, it is rumoured that he will be skipping out NXT and jumping straight to the main roster. This is something that was reported months weeks ago.
It has been rumoured for a number of weeks that Rey and Dominik will have a match at WrestleMania 36. However, it is not known at this time whether they will be tagging or going one-on-one against each other.
