On Monday night following Raw, Triple H revealed that this week’s NXT will have an ‘open door’. This means that Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown are free to turn up at Full Sail.
Following on from this, “The Game” told the media during a call today that we should expect a few surprise appearances from top main roster stars on tonight’s NXT show.
At the time, no word was given on which main roster stars were expected to appear on the go-home NXT show before both NXT TakeOver: War Games and Survivor Series.
Despite this, the Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez is now reporting that the following Raw and Smackdown stars are expected for tonight’s show.
Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali, King Corbin, Montez Ford, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville all likely on NXT tonight.
But it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

It makes sense for Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali and King Corbin to be present on tonight’s show. The five men have been selected to represent Team Smackdown for the fifteen-man elimination tag match.
However, it is strange to note that Montez Ford, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose are “likely” appearing on tonight’s show. The trio are not scheduled for a match on the pay-per-view.
Also appearing on tonight’s show will be The Revival. The former two-time NXT Tag Team Champions have been booked in a dream match with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of Undisputed Era.
Triple H also noted on the media call that tonight’s show will likely see four of the five men that will represent NXT at Survivor Series revealed. The final man will be revealed as an ‘epic surprise’ at Survivor Series.
