Over the weekend, several female wrestlers responded to a tweet from Tessa Blanchard accusing the talented female performer of racism and bullying. Tessa has strongly denied these claims.
With Impact’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view taking place last night, many people expected the promotion to cancel plans to have Tessa defeat Sami Callihan. However, they stuck to their guns and Tessa won the Impact World Championship on the show.
However, independent promotion Heavy Metal Wrestling has clearly taken a slightly less lenient approach to the accusations thrown at Tessa and have pulled her from an upcoming show.
Heavy Metal Wrestling confirmed via Twitter that the second-generation wrestler will not be at the 01/24 show as had been previously advertised.
Tessa Blanchard has been removed from our scheduled event on January 24th, 2020.
We take these allegations levied against her very seriously.
An updated card will be released shortly.

While these accusations are purely accusations at this point, Impact Wrestling has yet to officially respond to the comments made by the likes of Chelsea Green, Priscilla Kelly and Sienna regarding Tessa Blanchard.
