So it hasn’t been the best couple of weeks in Vince McMahon’s career. He’s had the XFL filing for bankruptcy, a huge backlash to a mass WWE star release, and now he’s being slapped with a wrongful termination lawsuit.
According to The Atlantic, former XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck is suing McMahon for wrongful termination, although the amount he’s being sued for has not been disclosed.
According to the report, Luck was hired by McMahon in 2018 and promised between $20 million and $25 million for being the Commissioner. However, back luck intervened and the new XFL season was cut short following the Coronavirus outbreak.
Luck’s contract reportedly states that he would be paid the full amount if he was terminated without cause.
Luck believes that his sacking was wrong, which is why he believes there are grounds for this lawsuit.
