It doesn’t matter what fandom you’re part of, there are always going to be people who take it way too seriously and way too far, as new head of RETRIBUTION Mustafa Ali has once again seen on Twitter.
A fan replied to a tweet from Ali by calling him a “terrorist” and “anti-American”, which makes so little sense it’s almost as if the person tweeting has never actually seen Ali in WWE.
This is far from the first time Ali, who is of Pakistani and Indian descent, has had to deal with negative stereotyping and racial abuse from wrestling fans.
There it is. https://t.co/MShZmBuJdu

As you can see from Ali’s response, it was only a matter of time before at least one idiot took it way too far.
Thankfully, the vast majority of comments and responses have been in defense of Ali, and many have condemned the fan for his choice of wording, and have pointed out to him that RETRIBUTION are not a terrorist organisation and nor are they anti-American.
If you can’t watch professional wrestling, which in essence is a performance with actors who are paid to act in certain roles, then maybe it’s not for you.
