A WWE Hall of Famer has reportedly had a “top secret meeting” with the company’s majority owner Vince McMahon and will be revealing detaills soon.
That Hall of Famer is Mick Foley, who has been quite outspoken on social media as of late, giving his honest thoughts about wrestling and politics in particular.
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT tweeted:
Mick Foley told me yesterday that he met with Vince McMahon just a few weeks ago for a ‘top secret meeting’ and details will follow soon.
Foley’s last appearance on WWE TV was July 2019 when he was attacked by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. That came after he’d returned in 2018 to be the special referee for the Universal Title Hell in a Cell match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns that September.
With this year’s edition of the Hell in a Cell event coming this Sunday, could this be a sign that Foley is going to be back for that given his HIAC history? Or perhaps even for Undertaker’s 30-year anniversary celebration at Survivor Series? Just speculation – we’ll keep you updated with any more news as it becomes available.
