A new update has been provided regarding a possible injury to a major WWE Raw star that could have plenty of implications on future matches.
Dave Meltzer said previously that he’d heard Braun Strowman may have suffered an injury at Survivor Series, and he’s now given an update in the new Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer writes that Strowman isn’t listed on WWE’s internal injury list, but word is that he suffered a knee injury at the pay-per-view on November 22.
Strowman was set to challenge McIntyre at the December 20 TLC pay-per-view, and it seems the storyline suspension on Raw may have been done to write him out of that match.
However, there are people in WWE who think that match is still set despite the #1 contender three-way match with Riddle vs Keith Lee vs AJ Styles this coming Monday.
Ultimately, the situation is unclear right now, so be sure to stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any further news as it become available.
