One of The Rock’s latest projects is the new biographical series about his life from NBC entitled “Young Rock”. Today the first trailer for the new show was unveiled.
The Rock himself revealed the trailer on his Twitter account earlier today. He humbly acknowledged the wild life he has lived, comparing it to that of Forrest Gump. Here is the tweet:

“Our 1st official trailer for @NBC’s #YoungRock.
Humbly shaking my head at the wild Forrest Gump-ish life I’ve lived.
And man the lessons I learned along the way from loved ones who now walk in the clouds.
Look forward to making ya laugh & maybe a little bit more.
FEB 16th!”
Young Rock takes a look at the life of Dwayne Johnson in the years before he became The Rock in WWE. This focuses on his youth being raised by wrestling father Rocky Johnson and mother Ata during his formative years, as well as his time in high school and the University of Miami where he played on the National Champion Miami Hurricanes.
