A WWE star who hasn’t been seen on TV this year could be returning at the Royal Rumble tonight.
Lana last appeared on Monday Night Raw on the go-home episode before TLC last month where she was attacked by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, and she could be returning in the women’s Rumble match tonight.
Writing in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed the possibility of Lana being part of the women’s Rumble match tonight, potentially even leading to a showdown with Nia Jax:
Lana would also have a good shot at returning, since the idea was to keep her off about six weeks with her worked injury, and it would make sense for her to eliminate Jax in some fashion.
It’s important to note that there are no concrete reports that Lana is definitely returning at the Royal Rumble tonight. Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any potential updates on the matter.
Lana’s former tag team partner Natalya defeated Tamina in a special match on last night’s WWE Backstage. As such, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion will enter the rumble at the coveted number 30 spot.
