Carlito, who returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble and wrestled on Monday’s Raw, has teased the return of another former star.
The former Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Champion had formed an alliance with Chris Masters early on in their WWE careers, and it seems like Carlito wants Masters back once again.
Carlito tweeted an image of Masters with the caption “Next up, let’s get this beast to stop by”.
The Carribean star was in incredible shape for his return. He entered #8 in the Rumble match but didn’t pick up any eliminations before being dumped out by #13 entrant Elias.
However, he gained a measure of retribution against the songsmith on Raw, teaming with Jeff Hardy to beat Elias and Jaxson Ryker in a tag match.
It’s been reported by Wrestling Inc that he’s currently on a three-week trial with WWE to determine whether he’ll be a producer, wrestler, or neither, going forward.
