On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Lacey Evans announced that she is pregnant. It was later reported that this is not part of a storyline and Lacey Evans is legitimately expecting a child later on this year.
Unlike how Becky Lynch was taken off TV immediately after announcing that she was pregnant in May 2020, WWE is reportedly planning on using Lacey Evans on Raw for the next few months.
There are obviously limitations with how much Lacey Evans can get involved, with the former NXT star unable to take part in physical angles during her pregnancy, but Ringside News is reporting that WWE is planning to keep her on TV:
Ringside News has learned that WWE plans to keep Lacey Evans on television for a couple of months. Things can always change, especially when a pregagncy is a part of the situation. That is the current plan.
We were also told by someone directly involved in this situation that the plan is to carry on Evans’ storyline with Charlotte Flair. Obviously, this feud can’t have a blow-off match. Lacey Evans is staying on television, but we were told, “I do not think they have anything in mind.”
The insinuation on TV last night was that Ric Flair is the father to Lacey Evans’ unborn child, with Ringside News reporting that the storyline between Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans is set to continue.
Everyone here at WrestleTalk.com would obviously like to extend their congratulations to Lacey Evans and her husband on this exciting news.
