WWE has taken to social media and its official website to announce an injury to SmackDown star Intercontinental Champion Big E.
The injury – which is just storyline – comes as a result of an attack by Apollo Crews last night (Friday, February 19).
WWE.com writes:
Following a vicious assault at the hands of Apollo Crews on SmackDown, it was announced on Talking Smack that Intercontinental Champion Big E has suffered a brachial plexus injury that resulted in temporary arm weakness. He is currently convalescing at home.
What that means in words that normal humans can understand is he suffered a shoulder injury and is recovering at home.
This cements Apollo Crews as a heel and it seems like he’ll probably get another title shot at Big E some point soon.
