Last night on AEW Dynamite, Paul Wight revealed that a Hall of Fame-worthy signing would be revealed at Revolution. Of course, this got Twitter going with speculation about who it could be. The most popular theory, as per usual, has been CM Punk.
In a Twitter Q&A session, Punk was asked multiple times if he had signed with AEW. He has answered that it is “100% not him. When asked who he thinks would be the best addition to the AEW roster, Punk replied that he thinks the company should focus on who they have. Here is the tweet:
I think they should focus on who they have.

A CM Punk return to wrestling has been speculated about since he walked out of WWE in January 2014. Aside from his appearances on WWE Backstage, Punk has not made a major wrestling appearance since.
Paul Wight did not offer many details about who the signing is. All he said was he had the scoop and that the individual was a Hall of Fame-worthy performer.
We will continue to provide updates on the news as soon as more details become available.
