Unsurprisingly, it has emerged that AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was “furious” with how the Revolution pay-per-view last night ended.
The closing shot was supposed to be an emotional moment with Eddie Kingston shielding Jon Moxley from an explosion, but what we actually saw was more of a little sparkle.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Kenny Omega was ‘furious’ about how things ended during the show, which is pretty understandable:
“I was like, can you imagine being Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega. You kill yourselves for 30 minutes with bombs and barbed wire and you’re cutting yourself and poof — that’s the end. Omega was furious, by the way. I can tell you all that. He was angry.”
On the post-show media call, Tony Khan attempted to provide a storyline explanation as to why things didn’t go down as planned, which you can read more about by clicking here.
