It was recently revealed that All Elite Wrestling star Anna Jay would be out of action for 6-12 months with a shoulder injury. This was terrible news considering how much she had done in AEW since debuting last year. Now, she has provided an update on her condition.
On Twitter earlier today, Jay announced that she has had successful shoulder surgery. She also added that she will be sleeping and eating primarily ice cream and soup for the next two days before she resumes training. Here is the tweet:
Hi everyone 🙂 I just got out of my shoulder surgery, and all is well. For the next two days I will most likely sleep and eat only ice cream and soup. But after that…I will be working my ass off in any way I can. Thanks for all of the support and well wishes. 🙏🏼❣️ -99 pic.twitter.com/p12hX4DWgQ

Anna Jay made her debut with AEW at the start of the pandemic. She quickly joined the Dark Order where she was given the name “99”. She recently spoke about how Brodie Lee gave her that name as a tribute to hockey legend Wayne Gretzky.
From everyone here at WrestleTalk, we wish Anna Jay the speediest of recoveries.
