Officially, Triple H is still under contract to WWE as a performer. This may seem odd as he has only appeared as an on-screen performer a handful of times over the last two years.
Now, WWE has released their Schedule 14A paperwork, which includes the length of Triple H’s contract. His contract currently runs until March 30, 2022. That is not to say he couldn’t sign a new contract before then. Here is the excerpt from the paperwork:
“Paul Levesque. We have a booking agreement with Mr. Levesque which currently runs until March 30, 2022, and thereafter extends for successive one-year periods unless either party gives notice of nonextension at least 90 days prior to the expiration date. Under this agreement, Mr. Levesque is entitled to a minimum guaranteed annual payment of $1 million which the Company is entitled to recoup from all payments under the agreement including pay for performing in live and televised events and royalties for merchandise sold utilizing Mr. Levesque’s name and/or likeness.”
Triple H appeared on Raw this January for a match with Randy Orton. However, the match was derailed by Alexa Bliss and Randy Orton’s interactions. This was set to be Triple H’s first match since Super Showdown in 2019 where he also wrestled Randy Orton.
