Despite winning the Raw Tag Team Championship at the big show, AJ Styles and Omos made their first appearance since WrestleMania 37 on today’s episode of WWE The Bump.
The pair explained why they have missed the last three episodes of Raw, with AJ Styles and Omos claiming that they’ve been partying in Nigeria, where Omos is “treated like royalty”.
During the show, AJ Styles revealed that the pair are going to be back on Monday Night Raw next week, which will be their first proper televised appearance since winning the titles:
“We’ll be back next week and ready to party. In the ring. Not in Nigeria.”
With regards to who AJ Styles and Omos will be defending their belts against first, Omos suggested that New Day are going to have to earn a title match and will not be automatically given one:
“The New Day have to earn the right to face us again. They’re old news. Get to the back of the line. They’re not even on my radar.”

This is almost certainly a storyline reason for their absence, with Bryan Alvarez reporting that the duo have not been on TV simply because WWE has nothing for them, which you can read more about by clicking here.
